Max is a go-getter. He brings tenacity, enthusiasm and a determined focus on results. When Max joined my team, he jumped into the Yahoo! Canada organization at a tumultuous time. The situation would have overwhelmed many, but Max lost no time in developing a sound marketing strategy, rationalizing the talent in the org structure, and implementing his plan with unprecedented nimbleness. He's one of those executives with sufficient depth of expertise; yet who still retains the scrappiness and hustle to drive a team to the goal and beyond. And while doing it, he displays an affability that wins over peers and partners who don't mind how hard he's driving them.

As an outsider looking in (I never reported to him directly), it was obvious that Max created a highly passionate, engaged, ROI-driven marketing team.

It was truly a pleasure working with Max during our time together at Walt Disney. We were in a rapid growth phase for the business and we needed natural leaders who could creatively respond to any situation thrown at them. Max was one of the dynamic people who helped guide our explosive business growth and an incredible team environment.

Max is a marketing renaissance man. He can set the vision and manage P&L with equal ease and enthusiasm. He is multilingual (aka speaks digital AND business - and both official languages too!), and has done everything from online communities to CPG. He applies all of this experience to whatever he is working on with great good humour, common sense, energy, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit. Great marketer, great leader.

Max has been not only a key contributor to the Yahoo! Canada business but a great leader amongst his peers in the business. Max’s experienced and creative angles on B2C marketing and the projects he championed made a big difference in the success of our media properties in 2010. I worked with Max for approximately 3 years. Max was VP Marketing and my role at the time was VP Sales. Max was brought on board to evolve the Marketing discipline at Workopolis tapping his expertise from previous CPG and online/internet companies. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Max and believe that he was instrumental in the sales team's success.There was a true sales/marketing partnership that ultimately contribued to the success of Workopolis during that period of time.
