Max Lakritz is was one of the most professional, dynamic, and intelligent colleagues that I've had the pleasure to work with. His management style and superior server knowledge was essential to the success of the Visto Corp mission critical Network Operations Center (NOC). Under his leadership, the NOC was reliable, scalable, and fully secure. This ultimately enabled the servicing of customers and protection of data on a global scale for clients in as many as 40 countries. Without Max's expertise, the company might not have been able to support mission critical operations on a global scale. I admire and highly recommend Mr. Lakritz to any company in need of a technology savvy executive.
Max and I worked closely together since our teams managed the prodcution deliver with engineering product making it into the NOC. With explicit guidelines and process to follow, it was very clear how the teams execute on productions drops. In addition, escalations were handled in an efficient and effective manner with emphasis in getting our end customer up and running again no matter what it takes.

Upon the merger between iShip.com and Stamps..com, I promoted Max to Vice President based on his many contributions and excellent knowledge of data center technologies. As a key member of my staff, Max brought focus to our infrastructure development activities and to the overall technology strategies of our organization. During the course of his employment, Max demonstrated great talent for identifying which technologies should be considered for our efforts and which vendors to supply those technologies.
Max’s responsibilities were focused on significant aspects of our company’s infrastructure development. This included the development and expansion of corporate systems in Washington and California, as well as production data centers in both states. This included a variety of hardware and vendor software development activities for systems that provided 24x7 services for our customers (external focus), and for systems that supported the entire company (internal focus). In addition, Max was responsible for some of our large IT vendor relationships.
I was impressed with Max’s ability to constantly stay on top of all forms of technology and his analysis of how these technologies would fit with our strategic plans. I strongly recommend Max for any applicable systems management or IS/IT positions.
