Mary has been an invited contributor to the Visual Artists Ireland Professional Development Training Prorgramme over a number of years. She has devised and delivered excellent sessions on Social Media and Marketing for visual artists and designer makers, providing engaging visual presentations that relate directly to their needs. Having trained as an artist and having worked as a cultural manager Mary has a deep understanding of self promotion for artists, the need for audience development and the available means that artists have to do this work for themselves. Artists leaving her sessions have come away with a concise marketing plan and skills and knowledge to use social media platforms in a thoughtful and consistent way to promote their work.
