Maddie is one of the association community's brightest lights. She is a passionate advocate for the use of social media in associations, and an energetic evangelist for the ways of thinking and being enabled by those tools. But what I most respect and admire about Maddie is her deep and unswerving commitment to our community's success. I am very proud to count her as a friend and colleague.

Maddie is one of the most innovative thinkers I know. She is outstanding at both the strategic thinking and planning and the practical implementation of social media and new technologies. Her expertise is recognized not only in the association and non-profit space, but also in larger new media circles. Additionally, she gives back generously to the nonprofit world via her writing, speaking, and free workshops.

Maddie and I have come to know on another through ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership. She is a pioneer in the area of how associations are leveraging social media. Maddie gets it and has the ability to effectively communicate her wisdom to others.

We have presented together a number of times and I always learn something from here. On more than one occasion I have turned to her for guidence and each time her counsel has been right on target.

If I were starting venturing into social media, without hesitation, I would engage Maddie in the conversation.

Maddie is a true pioneer in our times. From her blogs, to her educational contributions for non-profits, to her overall support for social technologies for associations, she continues to shine as one of the (if not THE) leading authorities and experts of Web 2.0 for organizations. Her edgy, honest yet completely relevant writings are a always a fresh perspective to organizations looking to filter through the clutter of all the available technology. And with her stellar team at SocialFish bringing even more fire-power to her already impressive abilities, it's going to be exciting to see how they help guide organizations through challenging yet exciting times in the coming months and years!

Maddie is a real thought leader in the world of the social web. She has tremendous technical vision and insight and would be an asset for any organization. If you are looking to hire someone who can give solid advice on social strategies, Maddie is a great fit.

Seing things differently is a gift few people have. Being able to take what you see and come up with creative, honest, implementable solutions to those situations is an even rarer talent. Maddie has them both!

Maddie has made some great contributions to Associations Now. Her article <a href="http://www.asaecenter.org/PublicationsResources/ANowDetail.cfm?ItemNumber=36272">"Why Does Anyone Comment on Your Blog?"</a> has garnered a number of positive reviews, and her comments on the Associations Now case study <a href="http://www.asaecenter.org/PublicationsResources/ANowDetail.cfm?ItemNumber=35670">"Blog Brushfire"</a> were extremely insightful. I hope to work with her again in the future!

There are many so-called social media experts, but not many who really understand how to bridge the gap between technology and implementation. Maddie has this understanding, and is a great communicator to boot. If I ran a nonprofit, I'd hire her to help develop my social media program.

In a word WOW. I've enjoyed with Maddie on a couple of different projects and in different settings. In each case what has struck me is her energy, openness and her understanding of relationship-building. Most of the interactions have been around social media an area in which Maddie has great experience and knowledge. You'll love her blog and its a great window into her thinking, her work and her personality.
