As a blogger, he continually highlights the accomplishments and writings of others, and as a social media thought leader, he shows keen insight into the intersection of communications, business, and new technology. A great resource for anyone looking to understand new media and marketing.

Others have said it here -- ("true north" is an awesome way to put it) -- but Mack is one person who take a very practical approach. He isn't impressed by fame or fortune. He's the guy who will tell you the truth. No BS. Isn't that refreshing?
Oh -- and maybe this doesn't really matter -- but he's also one of the most decent, honorable, honest people I've met. Ever.
Source: LinkedIn Ann Handley Jan 28, 2014Mack is one of the few "True North" people you will find when it comes to social media consulting -- the kind of guy they use to set the compasses straight. His insight and advice have always been on target, ethical, and squarely in line with smart corporate objectives.
I'm particularly impressed with his unrelenting focus on the community, and starting and ending with how real people will react to initiatives. Mack gets it.
