I have worked in the food & beverage/hotel industry in different segments ranging from fast food to luxury (e.g. Burger King, Crowne Plaza, and The Ritz-Carlton) for more than 6 years. I have held positions in operations, finance, event management, and sales. I am currently working in the tech industry doing Sales.
Lorenz transferred to the Hospitality Management Program a few years ago and has taken several of my classes. Lorenz’ true passion for the hospitality industry drives him for high achievements. In school, Lorenz takes leadership roles in class projects and extra-curricular activities. He also completed a variety of internships in hotels and the foodservice industry. The scholarships and awards he received from SU and other professional organizations are great testimonials of his strong work ethics and potential for a successful career. I believe he will do very well in the field of hospitality management.
I have had the privilege of working with Lorenz on several revenue management missions within the Hospitality Industry. Lorenz has covered numerous revenue management job functions: analyzing pick up trend, managing hotel room inventory through revenue management system, forecasting 3 days and 10 days, analyzing market rates and promotions of competitors, supporting production reports and attending sales meeting
together as a team. Lorenz has always presented himself in a professional matter. He is very knowledgeable and always did an excellent job representing our team and all its attractions.
