I have over six years paid experience with two major not for profit organizations in Ontario which can be disclosed once we have made contact. From 2008 to 2016, I was responsible for roughly $370,000 accessed through my grant applications, and fundraising initiatives for one of the organizations in rural Southwestern Ontario which made a substantial impact on their overall community supports, and was a significant raise from their prior years, and most of their years after I moved on from the freelance position of grant-writer and fundraiser. The other social impact organization that I worked with over a span of 4 years where I wore a few different hats, I managed all fundraising activities, partnership activities and grant-writing tasks for a team of 6 individuals to ensure minimum annual funding targets were being achieved consistently, and was responsible for the mentorship of the fundraising department employees to ensure there was constantly growth and development in skill level in order to move forward into the next years funding environment with a lead.
