Director of U.S. Operations
Fever is an international event and planning tool that boasts 8 Million users. After being 1 of 30 companies around the world chosen by the NYC Venture Fellows, I was chosen to go to the U.S. to lead our international operations. My tasks and responsibilities include:
-Managed dynamic team of 8 recruited from over 300 applicants I recruited, screened, and hired.
-Awarded NYC Venture Fellows from application I wrote (1 of 30 companies around the world chosen to come to NYC (foursquare, rent the runway, etsy, etc.)
-Managed NYCs go-to-market strategy, branding partnerships, content building, PR (both on and offline), user-acquisition, and scaling social media platforms
-Creating concrete goals and streamline for our team to perform, as well as regular progress reviews
-Commercial real estate contract negotiations
-Tax & admin filing for becoming a legal entity
Before New York, I operated out of Madrid and Barcelona, where I worked heavily in a multi-disciplinary discourse of business modeling on an aggregate level. This involved conducting analysis on user acquisition, product development, sales and promotion.
All the while speaking, writing, and using Spanish daily in an international company.
