Having started as CAPM certified by PMI (Project Management Institute) and developed on for my final Bachelor’s project the Model BPM 6x5 (BPM 6 by 5: a self-assessment model to measure and develop action plans for the company to grow in Maturity in BPM), my focus has gone beyond structuring the company’s processes.
By combining concepts of BPM, Knowledge Management and Project Management, I work to enable the company’s growth in Maturity in Business Process Management by helping people develop a knowledge-sharing and process-oriented mindset to enable and strengthen a Continuous Improvement culture.
My Master's studies at the University of Latvia in Strategic management & Leadership concluded with a Master thesis comprehending aspects of BPM, Knowledge Management and Change Management. The thesis proposes the use of Super User role (both process and knowledge specialist) to enable the company's growth in maturity in Business Process Management. Now I am an ambassador of the Super User concept, and am part of the Leader Board of SunSource (https://www.sunsource.io/), a community dedicated to Super Users and their leaders.
In my spare time, I have managed multiple social projects both in Brazil and Latvia. All the training I deliver to volunteers has embedded my belief that learning and self-awareness stimulate people to actively take control of their lives and consequently build a society that is more human.
The programs I lead are mostly related to personal development: personality development, understanding of your temperament, acquisition of habits and skills needed both for personal and professional life (such as time management, emotional intelligence, teamwork), identification of study techniques that fit your learning style.
The new field I have been applying my knowledge to is as a coach of work organization for people with multiple projects happening in parallel. It is thrilling to be able to combine work optimization with personal development.
My experience in managing projects, coaching and restructuring organizations lead me to team lead and managerial positions as a natural step in my career, just to find out how much I enjoy doing it. It gives me the opportunity to apply the skills I have developed to support each of my team members' development and to reach together our common goals.
