I know Martin from the years back as a proficient technical expert and great speaker at numerous seminars and software development events. Later on, I had a chance to collaborate with him on technical community meetings. He shows constant passion for defining and delivering the right content and does not hesitate to be part of the organizational activities. His energy-driven attitude when contributing in his MVP role is typical and very positive way for him to support many of the impactful technical events in Bulgaria and worldwide.

I was Martin's manager during a time when he was a team lead on one of the biggest projects in Rila Solutions. During that time Martin proved himself as a very well organized developer and team lead. Martin Kulov was a project manager of the successful IT project for development of the the first automatic system for electricity market administration run by NEK (presently ESO) in 2004-06. I worked with Martin Kulov in the National Academy for Software Development (NASD) for few years. In fact this was my first start-up company. NASD provided high-quality real-world software development training for almost the entire software industry in Bulgaria. I was happy to have martin onboard. He focused on .NET and Microsoft related training and I focused on Java and open-source related technologies training.

We found NASD together with Martin and few other partners and we worked together from the very first moment in 2005.

Martin is a hard worker, like a machine. He always does the job he takes even when it costs him a sleepless night or week. This is why I can rely on him for any project he takes to manage and any job he takes to accomplish. I was very happy to have such reliable partner.

Martin in proficient in software engineering, a good project leader and experienced conference speaker. We did together training courses and software development projects. I learned a lot from his expertise in the field of any Microsoft-related technologies and project management. He learned from me some techniques to improve himself as a trainer and public speaker.

We did together with Martin few training courses for .NET engineers and few .NET development projects, but we failed to get on the same page with our other managing partners in NASD and Martin happened to leave our joint company in 2007.

A bit later Martin got the Microsoft Regional Director position for Bulgaria and we worked together on few community projects related to development of the .NET community in Bulgaria. I was happy to work with him.

In one sentence: I recommend Martin for any technical project. He is a reliable, goal-oriented professional and does the job on time with high-quality.
