To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter on behalf of Kristin Addis, a past employee of mine at the UC Santa Barbara Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is a non-profit telemarketing program designed to target UCSB Alumni and Parents for donations. These donations help to support student services on campus that are not fully funded by the state of California.
Kristin’s work here was valuable and went a long way in helping the Annual Fund and UCSB accomplish many vital tasks to secure the University’s fundraising goals. These tasks include: making contact with students, parents and alumni; informing said parents and alumni of recent University events and new developments; and then to convince the constituent to give monetary donations to the University. Kristin was an employee of mine for more than a year and in that time she did absolutely everything she could to support UC Santa Barbara. As a student caller Kristin was a standout amongst her peers, she raised more than $225,000 for UCSB’s student programs. To put this in perspective, the average employee raises less than $5,000. She is one of five callers all time who has been able to raise more than $200,000, the Annual Fund has employed thousands of students since its inception. In Kristin’s Annual Fund career she has proven herself to be a successful communicator, great in a team environment, and she was appreciated by all of her superiors. In getting to know him her I can see that she applies these same attributes to everything she does.
On a personal note, Kristin was one of the most determined and professional employees I have ever had the opportunity of supervising and I have zero reservations about attaching my name to hers. If asked, I would be happy speak on her behalf. If you would like to contact me directly please do not hesitate to do so. My contact information is listed below.
Sincerely,
