I've rarely worked with anyone more talented, and have simply never known anyone more unfailingly cheerful, positive, and easy to work with. Kris has an outstanding eye for the visual, and a relentless attention to detail unusual in someone so easygoing. I'd hire him in a second.

Few people do I always make time for, but connecting with Kris is always a breath of fresh air. Kris has a fresh approach to challenges, but his value is in his vision. He has the ability to see things differently and creatively, yet also applies the energy and discipline to see the work through to success.

If you are looking for conventional photographic style Kris will do a great job... but if you're open to new forms of expression and creative communication through this medium, then allow him the latitude to outperform. He will every time.

Kris has done an amazing job positioning Bryght as a thought leader in the Web 2.0 universe. Although based in Vancouver, BC Bryght in known worldwide and probably best known in Silicon Valley. Kris has helped support one of my projects and helped our business in making connections and spreading the word. I'm looking forward to working more with Kris in the future.

Mr Krug is truly an amazing photographer. He really knows how to capture ones personality in a photograph. I really think it has to do with his rare blend of creativity, technical photographic skills and his easy going friendly demeanor. I would hire Kris again in a heart beat!

As Marketing Coordinator for a software company looking to magnify and brand their corporate face, I hired Kris to capture our executive team for multi-purpose use - from media kits and public outreach efforts to speaking engagement and blog posts.

The company's executives are 'youngish' so they didn't want to look stodgy nor did they want 'plain' headshots. But, at the same time, the company operates in a somewhat conservative business space and thusly wanted to ensure that a serious and professional demeanor was evidenced in the photos.

The result was a series of photos which capture the personality of the young executives - simultaneously sincere and enthusiastic, contemplative and active.

Indeed, his shots seem to evoke the story of entrepreneurship – a tale of building dreams through long nights coding and hoping for the pay off from the toil (a situation which Krug knows very well incidentally).

He organized the shoot around several on-site locations to provide variety in pose, color and composition. His subtle control over the depth of field brings out the face details while placing the picture in the context of the office - making the viewer feel as though they walked in on a meeting or stopped by for a beverage.

To complement the technical prowess evidenced in his photos, KK manages to make *everyone* look a little bit rockstar. His unique aesthetic style is derived both from his technical chops and even moreso, his uncanny ability to break through the tension and stress which folks (particularly introverted types) often initially feel when a big lens is in action mere centimeters from their face.

For the record, KK has taken the only photos of me which do NOT feature my mouth open and eyes closed :-). In fact, i look sorta like a rockstar ;-).

Kris is one of the few photographers that can not only take great pictures, but also tell you how to use them.

Kris has an outstanding ability to capture the moment. His talent to photograph the very essence of a person is truly remarkable. He is also very easy to work which makes taking his direction not only fun but also tremendously rewarding. His results will take your breath away!

I worked with Kris at RaySat, netVmg and on a project called *spark-online.com. As a colleague, Kris consistently impressed me with his eye for detail and cutting edge design sense.

I hired Kris as a photographer for a Donat Group Enterprises project. We required photographs of prominant CEOs and Investors from around British Columbia. We wanted something "more hip" than the standard corporate "head shot". But these images still needed to reflect the high standing and respect that these individuals had in the business community.

Kris nailed it.

I could not attend the shoots, but I had no hesitation letting Kris represent me and my company to these VIPs. He's a professional.
