Kevin was great to talk with. He quickly got to the gist of our challenges and gave great advice on how to move forward.

Kevin is a natural entrepreneur and leader, as well as a great friend. He is passionate about ideas that can change the world for the better, and he lives this passion in a way that rallies others to get involved. Kevin has been a joy to work with because he moves forward with a combination of intuition, respect for research, and pursuit of excellence. BetterGrads is a great organization because he is a tireless founder. I can't wait for my next opportunity to build something with him, or simply think big with him over burritos.

Kevin's tenacious commitment to connecting high school students with college resources is shaping the way we all will leverage our alumni networks in the near future. Kevin has led BetterGrads since 2008 by listening and adapting to the needs of the organization. He is perhaps the most open, fair and receptive person I have ever worked with. He is an emerging thought leader in education, and on a daily basis, he engages with students, young professionals, high school teachers, school administrators, professors, academic professionals, web engineers, entrepreneurs, nonprofit founders, and others who support him in the BetterGrads effort. Kevin's not *just* a smart guy with lots of ideas -- he's someone you need to know if you want to make a difference in education.

It was really difficult to figure out just where to recommend Kevin Adler on LinkedIn because I have not gone to school, nor studied with him since we were fifth graders in California. That being said, we have been close friends for the better part of sixteen years, despite the fact that we have both been living or studying around all parts of the world. It is hard for me to think of a more genuine, intensely intelligent, kind, passionate, focused, adventurous and entrepreneurial person. Kevin simply has this aura of, "know how" and he really is the one that anyone would want on their team because that team would win- hands down. He is extremely approachable and can speak with the president of a country or a pauper on the street because it is effortless for him to connect and he will care about that person to the core. I am absolutely thrilled that I can count Kevin Adler as one of my closest friends and as soon as I have the capital, I will beg him to start a business with me! I recommend Kevin on every level possible because I have seen him in all facets of life.

Kevin was among 11 busy individuals volunteering their time at the Awesome Foundation to make the world a bit more "awesome" each month through micro-grants. Group think can be a killer, but Kevin has been hands down an indispensable founding board member to initiate and grow this organization. He is one of those individuals that exudes both big-picture vision and a strong work ethic that inspires us all. He does what he says he's going to do, does it on time, and communicates it clearly to the rest of the group. He challenges the board with insightful questions which has moved the foundation forward in its mission and operational procedures. I can't wait to see where Kevin is 3, 5, 10 years from now—no doubt leading a successful organization or company with the same talents he already possess.

Kevin worked to plan and publicize a Commonwealth Club summer series on water issues. He did a great job helping to launch a 32-part series attended by over a thousand people. He is bright, energetic, and dedicated to his goals. I would recommend him for any job or internship in the public affairs/public policy arena.

Kevin is bright, dependable, a strong communicator and a creative problem-solver. In a startup, it’s important to be contributing while learning. Kevin has demonstrated his ability to perform his tasks with little training and is a team player. He's highly reliable and gets the job done on time. He has been an asset to our team and an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him!

Kevin Adler was a student leader on my Student Advisory Board during his college career. Additionally, Kevin used our services over the four years he was a student on our campus. In his advisory board role, Kevin was focused on improving career services for student success. He employed both a humanistic and analytical approach toward identifying and helping solve obstacles and problems that faced our department. Mature and forward thinking, he is a brilliant thinker, but it is his capacity to engage individuals, draw out perspectives and connect with a diverse group of people, that I find uniquely admirable. Kevin Adler is and will continue to be an invaluable asset to organizations that value warmth, generosity of spirit, innovation, strategic thinking, and intelligence. I recommend him without reservation.

Kevin took on a labor-intensive project contacting high school personnel in most of the major school districts in Los Angeles County. He did an outstanding job, producing a report that synthesized the results from his interviews and providing information for a countywide inventory on high school career technical education programs.
