After his Ph.D. journey in Human Behavior Analysis was cut short, Ken took that M.S. degree, achieved a 2nd M.S. degree, then worked as a technical writer for 8 years before settling into corporate training. Since 2006, Ken has been teaching professionals how to create memorable learning experiences. He has also designed several impactful training programs along the way.
As a train-the-trainer specialist and CEO of The EMU Experience, Ken is insanely passionate about live training workshops and helping professionals creatively engage their learners early, often and on-purpose.
In 2014, he began a second career as a corporate videographer by writing up his own job description at the company he has worked at for almost 15 years. As an in-house corporate video team of one, Ken has produced over 300 videos in the last 5 years. In addition to his multi award-winning work, Ken led "How to Succeed as a One-Person Video Team" workshops at the Training 2018 and 2018 Online Learning Conferences.
In 2017, Ken received 18 industry awards for his video work.
