Having worked with Justin Dorfman for about 5 years, I can definitely say that he was and is extremely adept at using and understanding computers. He understood the connection between making a single change in a single computer at Western Costume Company, and how that single change would impact other computers, as our computer system was (and is) networked. He was always very good at trouble-shooting and actually fixing a problem - without creating new problems (which some IT people create when they don't know what they're doing!).
If any of his coworkers had a technical question or needed some advice about computers or software, Justin was always very gracious and patient when answering their questions. He helped his coworkers and costumers who needed his expertise, even when he didn't really have much time.
He was always reliable, and I recall him working under enormous pressure to solve PC and network systems issues while never loosing his composure - or his 'cool.' He also would attend technology seminars, sometimes in another state, just to keep up with the latest trends, gadgets, etc. Computers and technology are his world.
Bottom line: I can honestly state that if I were managing a company, I would not hesitate to hire Justin to work for me. I saw him in action, and saying that I'd hire him myself is really the highest and greatest compliment and recommendation I could ever give him!
