I have spent the better part of a decade building "Red Teams" at large technology companies. These teams conduct live hacking assessments against the organization to continually challenge the organizations defenses. As a result I've gained a very practical perspective of how the many moving parts associated with cyber security interplay and either succeed or fail in stopping a real attack.

I have worked on both sides of information security both helping companies respond and recover from breeches carried out by nation state backed hackers as well as simulating nation state level adversaries to challenge the collective defenses of an organization.

I have taught classes and presented at conferences across the globe on these topics.
