Freelancing doesn't need to be a constant struggle. You don't need to race to the bottom on sites like UpWork. You don't need to submit to bad clients and become a poorly compensated employee without the perks. Working for yourself shouldn't mean late nights, no weekends, and less pay.
HOWEVER, it's not all beaches and pajama parties, either. It takes work... smart work.
If you're good at what you do and you're willing to work, I'd love to show you what's helped me do far better than most freelancers.
PS. Who am I, anyway?
I launched my freelance copywriting business in 2015, so I still remember what it's like to start out. Since launching my business, I've never had a dry spell, I've ALWAYS charged very respectable rates, and I'm grossing between $90k-$110k/year with minimal expenses. I attribute any success I've had so far to treating this like a real business, paying close attention to my positioning, negotiations, project and client management, networking, and more.
