Lean Thinking

I've enjoyed working and learning from John. He's given me perspective on my project manager and has gotten me to think on what I can do better and to better understand my company as a hole.

John was able to quickly understand the application of Deming principles to the markets I was discussing, and identified several issues critical to the success of my enterprise. He agreed to act as the contact person to submit the plan to call the system I am developing a "Deming Economic System" to the Deming Institute for approval.

Although I only worked briefly with John, I gained valuable insight into the American Society of Engineering Education from him. He is keenly focused on improving quality of work and made a lasting impression on our organization.

John is experience in process design and quality management techniques. He has regularly contributed to projects using these skills, to the greater success of our work with government agencies.

John is a talented program manager with great instincts. He understands how to transform strategic intent into actionable tactics necessary to move projects forward. While at the White House, I coordinated with him on the Senior Leadership Communications System upgrade to the Executive Fleet aircraft. His assistance helped to deliver this multi-million dollar program on time and on budget.
