John is a uniquely gifted person. His combination of passion, energy, heart for the broken, spiritual vitality, strong management skills, and overflowing vision, coupled with his ability to make decisions, make tough ones and take the heat, set him apart. (I've know John through Emmaus Ministries and beyond since 1990. I was on John's board to whom he reported, later John supervised me as his employee, then for a short time John reported to me.)

John is driven visionary who leads with his passion for Christ and people. He is always looking for ways to help others improve their lives and better use their gifts and talents. John is a great man to have involved in your organization, and a wonderful friend.

John is a visionary with tremendous energy and compassion. As the founder of Emmaus Ministries, he provided direction and a steady hand for 20 years. He also created a work environment and an office culture that prioritized people and made them feel welcomed and energized to produce. His tremendous heart for the men Emmaus serves was evident, and the ministry remains imbued with his passion to help them change their lives.
