Jim is an extraordinary asset to any group or team. He is extremely process-oriented, results-driven, always objective, and has a fine attention to detail. He is exceptionally honest and forthright, which is both motivational and inspirational to work with. The visibility and predictability of the work we were doing as a team was greatly improved with Jim's presence. I look forward to any opportunity to work with him on projects in the future.

He's grounded in the science, but focused on how to give individuals focused, actionable suggestions on creating highly effective teams.
Source: LinkedIn Brad Staats Sep 25, 2013Jim presents an appreciable depth of knowledge on a number of subjects, but I'm amazed at the truly actionable knowledge Jim brings to the table with his teamwork training program. Having been exposed to a number of his presentations and impacted personally by his keen advice, I would wholeheartedly endorse Jim as a valuable resource for any company looking to drastically improve their project and team effectiveness.
Source: LinkedIn Allen Sheffield Sep 25, 2013Jim was my first manager in a technical writing role. I had the opportunity to work with him for close to two years and in that time, I learnt a lot more about technical writing than I knew before or ever learnt afterwards. Jim was a patient and pleasant manager to work with and never tired of my questions or mistakes. He was an able leader, who built and handled a team of 5-6 writers spread over 3 geographical locations and ensuring timely deliverance of every document. He was a good teacher who gave ample time for the resource to learn and develop despite hectic schedules and deadlines. I would love the opportunity to be able to work with Jim again and would strongly recommend him for any job he's looking for.

It is very well received by students, and I look forward to reading his newly available book: "The SuddenTeams Program: Bring Your Team Together Using the Science of Teams"
