MenuHelp With Startup Management, Equity Formation, and Corporate Formation
Created 10 years ago
Getting your business or partnership setup right is critical to success. Developing your operating agreement, operating plans, defining equity allocation, and making key decisions on management, span of control, and levels of authority can make the difference between success and chaos. I've set up businesses as small as $50,000 per year in revenue to over $200M that included these kinds of decisions. In 2017, I helped a private equity firm develop a strategy to create a disruptive company in the supply chain. Working with a small team, I reviewed the market, created the product strategy and then helped to build the M&A strategy that involved buy 12 companies and consolidating them into one. I joined the board during the first 18 months to ensure the company got off to a strong start. Revenues are up 12% and the current equity (full disclosure, I have equity) has gone up 15%
