Work-Life Balance

Today there are more people choosing entrepreneurship, freelancing, and business ownership than ever before, but there are also more stressed, overwhelmed, unfulfilled people in those roles than ever before.

Spouse, parent, child, sibling, friend, business owner, manager, marketer, professional... You own many roles and while all deserve your focused attention, rarely do they receive it. To reach your goals your business needs more of your time, but you're already working long hours missing out on important time with your family -- yet time with them is the reason you ventured out on your own in the first place.

I've been exactly where you are. I worked 16-18 hour days, seven days a week, with a toddler and a new baby. I failed every way you can fail. I struggled with immense parental guilt, missing key moments of my children's lives. My business grew quickly at the expense of friendships and family and my own mental health. And through it all, I still felt like I wasn't giving, doing, or being enough.

Fast forward to today: I take more than seven weeks of vacation plus all holidays with no stress, spend more time with my family and friends than ever before, and have new hobbies. Where I used to feel stress and overwhelm, I now feel fulfillment and satisfaction. At the same time, I don't work nights or weekends and my business is doing better than ever, with fewer hours worked, higher net profits, and stronger client relationships.

If you haven't taken a vacation in years, you don't have time to pursue hobbies for pure enjoyment, you work nights and weekends, or your health is suffering due to your work; you feel spousal or parental guilt, or the ramp up before and after vacations almost makes the time away not worth it, we should talk.
