Likewise, the Stanford Web Credibility Project shows 47% of users make buying decisions based on the website alone. Great design creates feelings of quality and trustworthiness, while poor design leads to feelings of confusion, low quality, and untrustworthiness. Bottom line: Good design optimizes experience, shapes perception, and encourages conversion.

With a Bachelor's Degree in graphic design and 20 years experience in the design trenches, I have worked on branding, print, and website projects for professional sports teams, hospital systems, corporations, associations, SMBs, and entrepreneurs. I have sent thousands of projects to print, designed hundreds of websites, and have been working with WordPress to design complex, custom themes, websites, and publishing systems since 2008.
