I exist for one reason, and one reason only: to be a constant, consistent, POSITIVE force in your life; a source of encouragement that helps you find the STRENGTH and the POWER to be your very best self. Your life matters. It’s important to you (or, at least, it should be), and it’s important to me!
I'm here to help you discover you; to help you find your MOTIVATION, your driving force, the thing that excites you and keeps your soul ablaze.
My Story:
I spent a lot of years so concerned with the opinions of others, that I wasn’t really living my own life. I’d be so concerned with others' feelings towards me that I focused more on getting them to accept me than making sure that I accepted myself. It wasn’t until I met my husband that my life really began to change. I was a roaring cage of swirling emotions, allowing anyone or anything to change my mood. He wasn’t that way at all. He was rational, even-keeled… a problem-solver. I didn’t know how to react to his demeanor. His calmness would actually make me angry. (Yes, completely dumb, right?!?)
Anyway, slowly (and I mean, slo-owl-ly-y), I began to change. I started taking cues from my husband. I took notes on his ability to handle both good and bad situations. I remembered him telling me about a period in his life when he read any book he could get his hands on – any book about self-improvement, effective communication, and the like. So, I started reading books and watching YouTube videos by people like Terri Savelle Foy, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, and Tony Robbins. (There are several more.) I really started to focus on myself and going after my own version of happy.
Changing the way I think has changed my life in so many ways. I’m not perfect, and I don’t get it right all the time, but I’m thankful I had the guts to try something different; to learn more.
So, that’s why I’m here. I want to share what I know and help you grow into the person you've always dreamed of being.
