Mr. Jaxson T. Khan studied under me in his first-year of university, at the Bader International Study Centre of Queen's University in Hailsham, UK, though from his performance, I would not have known that my class was merely serving as his entrance into academia. The passion, dedication, and undeniable effort that he put into his studies was remarkable. As a student, he exemplified perseverance. He held a strong aptitude for critical thinking, and also demonstrated immense conscientiousness in his research. From the community interviews he conducted to the in-depth discussions he sought with me, Jaxson continually strived to synthesize his findings into something greater, and connect it with the world around him. I also know that his community involvement – such as being our elected student council president at the BISC – is nothing short of extraordinary, and even in the single year that I had him as a student in England, I can say with confidence that Jaxson will continue to make his mark wherever he goes, whether as a student in Canada, or as a leader around the world.
