I started my first EO qualifying business in University. This was a digital agency called Tidal Interactive. We created websites for organizations like Pepsi, Mountain Equipment Co-op and BC Liquor Stores. I grew the company to a team of 15 and 1.4M in revenue with 350k in net income. In 2011 and 2012 Tidal was recognized as a top web site development company by Business in Vancouver. My business partner and I successfully sold this organization off in 2012. Using the proceeds of the sale my business partner and I re-invested into a SaaS company called Advisorwebsites.com. Using the proceeds of the sale my business partner and I re-invested into a SaaS company called Advisorwebsites.com. In the past 1.5 years we have more than doubled our customer base and built out a strong and engaged team. Advisorwebsites currently has 17 employees and is in a rapid growth mode. We are aiming to double revenue again in 2014. I am currently transitioning into a non-operational board role at Advisorwebsites.com.

I studied at Simon Fraser University getting an honors degree in Communication and Publishing. I love sports (skiing, snowmobiling, cycling, hiking).

I’m also involved and very interested in the non-profit sector helping to fund the development of a school in Guatemala.

I’m married to an amazingly patient and wonderful wife and am hoping to have children in the next couple of years.
