Professional Speaking, Leadership, and the Fine Art of Working With Millennials
Created 11 years ago in Skills & Management / Public Speaking

Teacher of authentic confidence (none of this fake it 'til you make it BS), personal leadership, self-compassion and self-love. Delivered hundreds of paid speeches on modern leadership and globalization at conferences on four continents. Built three profitable businesses from the ground up (one speaking, one consulting, and one entertainment). I have direct access to the next generation of leaders and have a ninja-like understanding of how to work with 18-35 year olds. Worked with everyone from sixth graders here in Denver, through professional athletes, Fortune 500 Execs, and senior members of the Obama admin.

My session with Jason was outstanding - he far exceeded our expectations in the best possible way. Jason modestly suggested booking a short period of time and then delivered massive amount of value in it.
It is obvious he prepared in advance and put a lot of thought in answering my questions. He knows the speaking industry inside out and the advice we got was straight to the point.
I'm grateful we had an opportunity to talk to Jason and feel that I received much more value than I paid for.
Jason got down to business quickly and even within 20 minutes delivered more value than multiple other coaches to whom I had spoken. His ideas were applicable and his feedback was tailored directly to me based on his own research into my business and my brand.

I have seen him speak before and it is great to see how he creates such an impactful presentation. Jason creates a comfortable environment to share and he helps lead you into realizations that one would not have previously had. I got so much value out of my call with Jason!

He provided me an excellent overview of the path to becoming a professional speaker and answered my questions with directness, clarity and, most importantly, with conviction from his many years of experience. Talking with Jason was a valuable use of both time and money.
Source: Clarity Ali Cherry Nov 25, 2014I met Jason Connell after a terrific presentation he gave to my professional organization. I was riveted! He is an incredibly gifted speaker and exceptionally generous in sharing his expertise. Jason has his finger on the pulse of millenials and has a passionate vision for changing the world through service and leadership. I would highly recommend Jason as a speaker and as a consultant to any organization looking to expand their vision and learn more about social entrpreneurship.
Source: LinkedIn Annie Kip Jul 16, 2014I hired Jason to deliver his "Changing the World 101" education program to our students at Plymouth State University. I hired him after a mutual friend introduced us, and we met briefly to talk about what he does and what we need.
I get dozens of cold-calls a semester from so-called leadership and motivational speakers. They are all well-spoken, have shiny brochures and cool websites, but not one has demonstrated any real experience doing anything other than motivating people (to do what, I still don't know).
Jason is the anti-thesis to the run-of-the-mill speaker. For such a young man, he has an incredible amount of practical experience, and he has made all of it available for others. He does this, because he is for real. He is changing the world, and he is seeking others to join him, in their own way.
In addition, Jason has maintained relationships with several of our students. He has inspired our students to do real international service work, and he continues to be a mentor well after his program is over and he has left campus. He does't charge consulting fees for this. He doesn't send me this as reasons for why I should bring him back. I hear it from my students. That's why I have hired him again, and why I will continue to do so.
Jason is the real deal: He's a twenty-something changing the world. Quite inspiring for this late thirty-something.

Helping Jason articulate his vision and connect with the people and organizations who *need* his insights was a joy and delight, for he is not an ordinary speaker with an ordinary message. He's a visionary, graced with the ability to inspire, inform, influence and IMPROVE. He's a difference-maker, a life-changer, and that I played a role -- a small one, but a role nonetheless -- in helping him perform his important work remains one of the highlights of my career. Frankly, the world needs more Jason Connell, and when I see him on CNN, on the cover of Time, winning the Nobel Peace Prize or, hey, even asking me for my vote, I'm going to say: "AHA! I knew it!" And I'm sure I won't be the only one -- not even close.

Jason is an extremely perceptive, resilient, detail oriented young man whose ability to connect with a wide variety of people around the globe and to uncover what makes an audience tick is unparalleled. Jason's professionalism has been apparent since a very young age and I have had the pleasure of watching him grow up into a successful and resourceful young man. Jason is the definition of someone who thrives living outside of his comfort zone and is a thinker who enjoys to think outside of the box. It has been a pleasure to work with Jason.
