Hi there, my name is Janit Anjaria. I am a technology leader, AI Advisor, Technology and AI Coach, Mentor and a curious people loving person. About me: I have spent more than a decade in the industry and academia working on some of the most challenging and thereby interesting problems in Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering and building AI/ML products at Scale. All these problem statements have turned into products, that serve millions of users across the world while working at Flipkart, Uber and now Aurora Innovation Inc. For the last half a decade, I have also been fortunate to work with amazing Founders and their Engineering teams, which are now multi-million dollar companies. For all these collaborations my role has initially been to bootstrap technology in their companies and then later, serving as a Technology and AI Advisor to Engineering Leaders and Founders. While leading teams and projects, as well as while working with early stage startups, I have kept a people first approach. In retrospect, the most exciting part of my job is working with really smart people on really hard problems, and see projects and companies go from 0→1. My journey in Artificial Intelligence, started with working on Statistical Computing and Data Science more than a decade ago (before AI became a thing!). Since then, I have helped scale hard Machine Learning problems, which taught me distributed systems, software engineering and product design. Working on one of the toughest problems of our generation on Autonomous Vehicles, has provided me a deep experience of safe Robotics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Based on all my contributions, the United States of America also awarded me the Einstein Visa, which is awarded to people who have extraordinary contributions in their field of work.
