Has provided paraprofessional advising to over 140 undergraduates within their first year transition. Develops and implements programming to build community and strengthen relationships. Manages administrative tasks including room condition reports, maintenance requests, room change requests, and incident reports. Acts as a mediator/resolves issues involving diversity, alcohol and drug abuse, academics, emotional/physical health and safety. Budgets and allocates money used for residence hall events. Assists in the selection, evaluation, and training of incoming RA’s.
Programming has included:
- students of Crean College of Health and Behavioral Science excursion to California Science Center’s Body Worlds Exhibit
- Residence LIfe’s “Tunnel of Oppression,” an interactive display of contemporary issues highlighting oppression, privilege, and power
- Residence Hall "County Fair"
- Waffle Wednesdays, Taco Tuesdays
