Ilan Goldberg has been an entrepreneur and a China-LATAM trading consultant since 2015 when he founded GoFar Trade. He has over 10 years of experience in sales and business development with 6 years specifically in international trade. Ilan was raised in Mexico City and had spent the last 6+ years of his life residing in China and traveling across Asia. With professional formation in Industrial Engineering by ITESM and Fudan University; work experience in multinational companies like IBM and HP in Mexico and China; he has gained the knowledge and understanding of how to successfully do business between these two major regions of the world. He developed a complete solution for a seamless business relationship directly with Chinese manufacturers, eliminating the key challenges of buying from China: trust issues, cultural differences, language barriers and time difference.
He speaks fluent Spanish, English and Hebrew; conversational Chinese Mandarin and currently working on his Russian and Italian. When Ilan is not trying to sell something to someone, he enjoys traveling, performing standup comedy, reading, watching TV shows and learning new skills or just talking to strangers.
