Current Brown University student. Has helped high school students get into MIT, Brown, Northwestern, etc. I want to help you get into the school of your dreams, telling your story the way you authentically want to tell it.
I've helped seven students get into top 20 schools, ranging from MIT to Brown to Northwestern. I work one on one with students intensively and however they need, whether it's brainstorming ideas for their personal statement, or multiple rounds of edits after they've already written an essay. I specialize in knowing what different schools are after and how to tailor essays to those needs, without losing the authenticity of the story you want to tell.
I also work on developing an overall application hook and how to synthesize a well-rounded, unique Common App. This includes specifying your activities list, highlighting character qualities in your letters of recommendation, and identifying which experiences to use in different essays. The goal is to tie together all parts of your application to create a holistic perspective as a prospective student.
Lastly, I provide pre-med advising for high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to strengthen their resumé and brainstorm ideas for specific categories, such as community service, leadership, or clinical experience.
I am a current student at Brown University pursuing a Sc.B. in Biology with a focus in Biotechnology and Physiology. I hope to pursue a M.D. and study surgery in my future.
