Bezos has spent his life creating the world's most powerful fulfillment service and trusted shopping platform. Now think about it. Brands spend millions getting buyers to know and fall for their products. What if you could just sell a brand people are already coming in hoards to Amazon for due to convenience and world situation. This business model is what I do and teach on Amazon and its called wholesale. 3rd party sellers like me who contribute to most of Amazon's sales purchase goods from authorized brands/vendors/distributors at wholesale prices, and then sell them in bulk on Amazon.
Packing and shipping them yourself would be called FBM (fulfilled by merchant) but at scale this is tedious and time consuming so many choose FBA. The profits are a tad less because Amazon does all the work but this is how we can build a completely passive source income because even product research, opening accounts, account management can all me automated and outsourced!
