Josh was humble and straight to the point, providing actionable insightful growth strategies backed by he's own stellar track record in apps and games.
Valuable. Friendly.
Great action points and advice. Thank you Josh!
Was a pleasure talking with Josh. He provided valuable insights and great points of advice.
Josh is a real pro. His knowledge for building successful products in the mobile application world is really impressive. He was very personable and enthusiast about my product and the advice he gave was exactly what I needed. Highly recommend to anybody with a good idea, no matter what stage you're at. Give him a call!
Josh was extremely knowledgeable about the industry and provided organized and insightful advice. Would chat with him again
Josh is easily the most talented PM I have ever worked with. I have trouble restricting him to that just that title as he does quite a bit more most of the time. His intuition and creativity in problem-solving combined with thorough expertise and a remarkable amount of experience for his time on this earth make him pretty much unstoppable (and in deservingly high demand). On top of all of that, he's a fantastic guy. Any shop on this continent or the next would be very lucky to have him. I, for one, will miss him in LA...and his little dog(s), too.
There are plenty of smart product managers around, and Josh can easily hang with the best of them--but I suspect few of them share the qualities that make Josh such a vital member of any early-stage team: his sense of conviction, his decisiveness in the face of uncertainty, and his unwavering collaborative spirit.
There's no doubt in my mind that much of the success our team has achieved so far can be traced directly back to Josh. I sincerely can't wait to work with him again.
Josh is smartest product manager I have ever worked with, hands down. The breadth and depth of his product knowledge is truly staggering. For every facet of a project, from Facebook, to virality, to core game mechanics, to email deliverability, to app store optimization Josh proved himself time and time again to be the go-to guy for the right answer. Beyond being a stellar product guy, Josh is the nicest, friendliest guy you will ever meet. Josh isn't the kind of person you simply hire, he's the kind of person you hire first to build a company around.
Joshua was one of the major reasons for the wildfire success of Playdom's Social City. His willingness to spend the time helping our team not just to integrate, but also to internalize and understand Facebook's viral features gave us an advantage that still pays dividends years after the project's launch. He was enthusiastic, focused, and dedicated, and my only regret in working with him was that I couldn't convince him to permanently join our studio here in Eugene, Oregon!
Josh made the project we were working on feel like it moved like silk. His attention to detail, quick decision making, and breadth of knowledge on gaming is second to none. He is cheery and fun to work with and would love the opportunity to work with him again! No company should be without a Josh Lu in their arsenal!
