Glen is a 3rd generation technology expert (Glen, Father, & Grandmother) who started working professionally at the age of 16 in 1984 doing database programming. With an insatiable desire to learn, he joined IBM to learn how to repair computers and printers, then learned computer networking, systems administration, phone systems management (analog, and later digital, & VOIP), and started managing Network Operations at age 25 having responsibility for 55 offices around the world. Glen has had nearly every position in IT over his 31+ years of experience and has gone in and out of consulting (to keep his technical edge) and CIO management always keeping a clear focus on business goals. He has also founded/co-founded 4 companies being the CTO and often CEO, so he knows what it takes to run a business. While most would assume his degree was in Computer Science, the technology came easy to him, and he decided "PEOPLE are FAR MORE COMPLICATED than computers" so he studied Sociology and Cultural Anthropology (with a minor in Religion) to understand human nature better. He is friendly, out-going, a mentor, and teacher so easy to relate to which is rather unique for such a technical person. Give Glen a call today and for fun, ask him what it was like to design Bill Gate's personal computer network! :)
