Climate Expert | Founder, OneEarth Foundation | Ex-UNDP | Circular Economy & Coastal Resilience | PhD Researcher (Mangroves & AI) | TEDx Speaker | Mentor & Consultant
I have led multiple initiatives focused on climate resilience, coastal conservation, and circular economy solutions. My work involves: Mangrove Restoration & Conservation – Implementing large-scale restoration projects along the Mandovi and Zuari rivers, integrating AI-driven monitoring for better survival rates. Climate Resilience for Coastal Communities – Developing adaptation strategies for vulnerable fishing communities, including livelihood diversification and disaster preparedness. Marine Conservation & Ghost Net Recovery – Leading efforts to remove abandoned fishing nets, preventing marine life entanglement and restoring ocean health. Waste Management & Circular Economy – Designed and implemented Goa’s ‘Road to Zero Waste’ program, ensuring sustainable waste management at government events. Research & Policy Advocacy – Conducting studies on microplastics in salt and contributing to EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) implementation frameworks for better waste management policies. Education & Outreach – Guest lecturer at multiple colleges, training students and professionals on climate change, sustainability, and waste management. Benefits for Organizations & Stakeholders: Expertise in Climate Adaptation & Policy: Leverage data-driven approaches for developing climate-resilient cities, communities, and ecosystems. Sustainable & Scalable Solutions: Implement low-cost, high-impact strategies for waste management, marine conservation, and circular economy practices. Stakeholder Collaboration & Policy Influence: Work with government bodies, NGOs, and corporate partners to drive impactful policy reforms and community-based programs. Innovative Research & AI Integration: Utilize AI-driven models for mangrove restoration, carbon estimation, and climate risk assessment.
