I don't jump in with advise until I've first offered a non-judgmental, empathetic ear that actively listens to you, reflects back what I'm hearing, and helps you find clarity in difficult or confusing situations - whether team/relationship-issues, communication issues, business issues, or personal issues.

My systems thinking education and cognitive science background allow me to see interconnections between things, and holistically look for the root of the issues to help you focus on practical next steps around them.

The thread that ties all of my experiences together has been deeply caring about people and our world, and working with diverse groups, personalities, organizational styles and languages, to understand complex issues and design helpful solutions.

Former Improv Director Can Help Your Public Speaking or Individual Conversations

That's me officiating my friends' wedding. I've officiated 3 of them, because each time other friends in attendance wanted me to then officiate theirs.

I'm reading from a prepared speech, but that doesn't mean I wasn't also improvising some pieces and reacting to the audience - that's a key part of making a presentation engaging.

When we chat, we'll go over what you'd like help with, do a couple run throughs, and then discuss nuances.

Got a big presentation, pitch, or speech coming up?
Want to present authentically and not seem stiff or too rehearsed? We can build your improv skills and practice that.
Want to be engaging? We can work on timing and emphasis and gestures in a way that works naturally for you.
Want to be better at responding to questions? We can simulate and practice any dreaded questions you fear facing.

Or perhaps you need to have some difficult or complicated conversations with teammates, or direct reports, or hey, even roommates or partners?
Want to approach opening the conversation in a compassionate way? We can role-play that
Want to stay assertive in your fair requests? We can talk through and practice that.

I'll use my experience from 100s of presentations, with and without slides, with and without a script, along with my improvisation training, to work with you to bring your best, most authentic self to the words you have and want to say.
