Created 11 years ago in Product & Design / Product Management

Some of the best ideas never make it out of the building. I partner with leaders to define the vision and develop a compelling story that creates the internal engagement necessary to get solutions out the door and into the hands of adoring customers.

Erin was instrumental in helping define the value proposition and core benefits of the MVP. She helped in identifying and optimizing user experience for the needs of specific customer segments. We also leveraged her expertise in best practices for leadership and organizational effectiveness, particularly with Millennials.
Source: LinkedIn Sai Koppala Jul 14, 2014Erin has worked with us as a design consultant at my mobile startup. She has been very valuable to us in the early stages at helping define the value proposition for the MVP. Her help in identifying and optimizing user experience for the needs of our initial target users was very helpful as part of that process.
I would very much recommend Erin as a creative, design thinker.
Source: LinkedIn Fawad Zakariya Jul 14, 2014Erin was a fantastic member of our team as we went from 0 to 60 and rolled out new mobile and web products. She has an uncompromising grounding in customer experience and a very natural sense of design. I highly recommend her.
Source: LinkedIn Lee Cooper Jul 14, 2014Erin is a gem. She's been working closely with the Design for America students as a volunteer mentor at Stanford this past year and the result has been electrifying. She is committed and passionate about enabling students to learn the human centered design and innovation processes. She facilitates workshops, gives each team hands-on feedback and advice, brings in outside professionals for additional perspectives, and even invites students over for dinner. So committed! She is truly an anchor for our studio there and I hope to find more people like her to help DFA catalyze and increase our impact in the years to come. Thank you Erin for all that you do.
Source: LinkedIn Sami Nerenberg Jul 14, 2014I have been working with Erin for several projects throughout my career at SAP. To me, she is a leader that listens, an innovator that delivers, a team member that can be trusted and a mentor that inspires. Her creative energy, business acumen, and sensitivity to people she worked with and for is immensely valuable to our design team, creative process and product design. I look forward to many more projects working with her.
Source: LinkedIn Jing Wu Jul 14, 2014Erin is the kind of consultant you wish were not a consultant, but rather a permanent colleague. You want her on your team all the time.
I'm a product owner creating a consumer mobile app for which success depends on designing the best user experience possible. Anyone involved in product development will attest that the design process is hardly linear and clean-cut. Rather, it's bumpy and messy, with spurts and falls, crumpled pages and dry coffee cups filling the waste basket. When you add time pressure to the mix, it can lead to the kind of visceral stress that is perhaps our occupational hazard. During those times, when a creative breakthrough is most imperative and urgent, Erin is most valuable and at her best. She possesses the rare combination of design process expertise, software domain knowledge, and team facilitation skills.
Erin's impact on the creative process is immediate and tangible; there's a kind of instant gratification coupled with a lasting sense of value. I'm not a betting man, but when it comes to recommending Erin, I'm all in.
Source: LinkedIn B. Christopher Han Jul 14, 2014Erin is excellent with clients, quickly developing rapport and championing their needs across the organization. She can always find a creative way to solve any problem. She knows how to cultivate synergy among group members to re-interpret the problem and derive innovative solutions. She is also a pleasure to work with.
Source: LinkedIn Jason Wolf Jul 14, 2014I have worked closely with Erin for over two years and seen in multiple capacities including project leader, researcher, designer, facilitator and coach. Erin balances design leadership with a keen sense of business and a deep understanding of technology. She is an experienced design manager and an expert researcher with a comprehensive knowledge of relevant tools and methodologies. She is a recognized thought leader in design thinking and community engagement within SAP and a sought after advisor and coach for two Stanford courses externally. As a colleague she is always passionate, respectful and a pleasure to work with. Erin is an ideal fit for any design leadership or customer strategist role.
Source: LinkedIn Dan Donovan Jul 14, 2014Erin is an innovative thinker and a remarkable strategist. A big-picture person with an open mind, empathy towards others, and a positive attitude towards her organization. She is a passionate advocate of bringing users' and customers' perspective into the design and development process in order to create effective human-centered products and services with tangible business value.
Erin is also quite natural in bringing people together and getting things done. As team leader, she actively engages her team in collaborative problem-solving. She consistently encourages them to think out of the box, take on new challenges and turn them into innovative solutions. And, of course, Erin is an absolute pleasure to work with.
Source: LinkedIn Ali Ebtekar Jul 14, 2014Erin is one of my favorite colleagues at SAP, though I do like to think of her as my mentor and coach; a role that comes naturally to her. I very much enjoy working with Erin on Design Thinking projects, some of them span across the globe. She never ceases to impress me with her diplomacy that enables her to easily master any cultural challenge and her curiosity as well as her fantastic facilitation skills that drive Design Thinking and ultimately innovations and success.
