Since launching my brand with a rewards-based Kickstarter campaign, I've bootstrapped initial growth, secured SBA-backed debt financing, set up short term and factoring financial arrangements, and ultimately raised over $1M from high-net worth individuals across Regulation D-compliant Convertible Notes and Seed Equity rounds using equity crowdfunding, live roadshow, and cold/warm direct outreach strategies. I learned a lot of lessons the hard way and want to help other entrepreneurs get financing quickly and efficiently so they can get back to building their brand.
From selecting the right corporate structure to securing operational partners, I have extensive experience combining the strategic and legal aspects of building a business from the ground up. I've negotiated and redrafted long-term and exclusive vendor contracts, including production agreements, equipment rental agreements, and distribution agreements to build our operational network. Then to manage everything I created cloud-based operations tracking tools to manage production forecasting, raw materials procurement, and supply chain logistics. Going from zero to functional took a lot of time and headache and I can help save you a lot of both.
Along with my Co-Founder, I conceptualized and continually refined my company's brand vision to foster a distinctive lifestyle beer brand focused on celebrating the arts and creative culture of home neighborhood of Bushwick, Brooklyn through proprietary events and strategic partnerships with local arts organizations and corporate partners. Brand is an ever-developing process and I've been through a lot of tough conversations about what works and what doesn't. I'm an experienced sounding board to help drive action or even just remind you that sometimes the hardest thing to do is nothing and trust in your vision.
