It's never been harder to crack the marketplace with a screenplay, novel or even a finished film. As founder of Sleeperwave Films (sleeperwave.com) and a successful screenwriter, author, and feature-film producer, I've managed to do all three.
I'm prouder still that I've helped scores of writers and filmmakers find the creative spark and business clarity they needed to take their projects to the next level.
Let's get cracking on your project and help you find the success that's just around the corner.
And for a more formal resume: I co-produced and wrote the feature film "Supremacy," starring Academy-Award-winning Mahershala Ali, Danny Glover and Anson Mount.
I also co-wrote and produced "My Suicide," (aka Archie's Final Project), starring David Carradine, Gabriel Sunday, Mariel Hemingway, and Joe Montegna. The film won 21 major international film festival awards, including the Crystal Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.
Most recently I produced "Rickshaw Girl," the first ever US-Bangladeshi co-production. I'm also the author of six books, including "Birdland," "Cosmic Fever" and "Plot Twist." I've also written for dozens of national magazines, including The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Wired, and Salon.
I hold a Masters of Arts in Film Studies and teach screenwriting and storytelling nationwide.
