Doug Champion (WGA) has enjoyed a prolific 20 year career spanning multiple verticals of both entertainment and technology sectors alike.
Currently serving as CCO of Visionary Artists, a newly formed multi-platform production entity, Doug develops bleeding-edge content within the burgeoning arena of live-action volumetric-VR.
One such project – disk1: The Epic of Gilgamesh – a $120MM live-action volumetric-VR feature written by Doug, has garnered fervent acclaim for both its wildly original premise and inherent technical ambition.
Doug also serves as Director of Development for the feature film production company Stonelock Pictures, where he helps guide the creative lifecycle of projects currently slated for production.
In tandem with his creative endeavors and as a life-long enthusiast of theoretical physics, Doug has postulated a framework for the description of reality as the modal phenomena of a scale-invariant superfluid.
Doug also serves as CTO of Tech Lab Company, where he focuses on the cultivation of a self-healing platform for purposes of autonomous network operations - i.e., computers that fix themselves.
