The L.E.A.N. Start Program is a comprehensive 6-hour prevention plan delivered over the course of 6 weeks to help educate parents and caregivers who intern help their children or children (3-12 years old) they care for, reach their optimal level in the four pillars of health, lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude, and Nutrition - L.E.A.N.
During our six-weeks together, the following topics will be covered:
Week-1 will include an orientation of L.E.A.N. Start, Traffic Light Eating and Portion Control.
Week-2 will cover breakfast and grains.
Week-3 covers fruits and veggies.
Week-4 We will talk about The Skinny on Fat.
Week-5 covers protein and play (or exercise), and
Week-6 will be all about water and other beverages.
