Helped the software monetization group at top consumer and enterprise software IT organization define the program for next generation of software monetization activities through insights generated on a ‘Listening Tour’ with 30+ groups/firms in the client’s operating environment, potential partners and competitors. The insights were built into a business capability heat map, a ‘Build-Buy-Partner’ model & a capability roadmap.
Developed a business capability lifecycle model and technology product portfolio roadmap to support business-IT alignment using customer-focused capabilities defined by McKinsey & Co engagement.
• Achieved 70% reduction in project management efforts (3 full-time roles to one) - by identifying mitigating actions for critical inter-dependencies and by reducing the reporting effort from multiple tools for each to a single reporting tool for all work streams. Successfully executed my 'Return to Green' plan for the program and converted projects for ‘customer focused capabilities executive dashboard’ into agile mode (Cognos-Rational Asset Manager)
- Achieved business-IT strategic alignment at a global oil and gas conglomerate, by leading collaborative design workshops with 200 people in stakeholder departments to develop Enterprise PMO vision, strategy and benefits roadmap.
• Improved internal engagement levels for EPMO rollout from less than 10% to over 75%; Helped the client sponsor get increased corporate funding (from 150K USD to 2 million USD) for an 18-month EPMO rollout program and established the EPMO team as the ‘Go To’ team for improving business IT alignment.
• Defined the EPMO process and led solution architecture for EPMO customizations proof of concept built on Microsoft Project Server 2010(Beta Release).
