David is great and I could take many notes from our conversation. Provided me with a lot of value and was happy to have spoken with an expert about the problem I had. Thank you, David!
Source: Clarity Florin Muresan Dec 8, 2012Dave is a detail oriented meticulous worker.
Source: LinkedIn Josh Madden Dec 13, 2012David is a tenacious marketer that has a great "get it done" attitude. He excels at thinking and strategy at a high level, but he's not afraid of rolling up his sleeves and "digging in" when a project dictates. And he does all of this with a calm and collected demeanor. David is a excellent asset on any digital marketing project.
Source: LinkedIn Jeff SanGeorge Dec 13, 2012David has set the groundwork for my Golf Lesson Advantage Card (GLAC) with a solid marketing foundation based on building relationships with golfers. Business is built on relationships. David uses his personable traits and vast knowledge to make sure he understands your goals and objectives before laying out a strategy for success. I would recommend David for any marketing or social media needs you may have.
Source: LinkedIn Eddie Kilthau Dec 13, 2012LinkedIn only allows you 3 of the 7 attributes, but I'd select all 7 if I could.
I hired David this past summer to help me develop an internet marketing plan for the book that I am currently self-publishing. As an entrepreneur I've been used to wearing all the hats and had been reluctant in the past to hand over marketing duties to someone. Turns out the reason was that I hadn't found the right person for the job.
David and I first met in the late 90's competing against each other in college golf tournaments. We had always gotten along well then, he's friendly and personable; the kind of guy you wanted to play golf with because you knew it'd be fun with absolutely no BS. When our paths crossed 10+ years later I knew he'd be a good guy to work with, but I need proof that he could deliver what I needed.
The book isn't even out yet and already I can see the results. My primary business has increased, my internet presence is getting stronger and there's no mystery why - he knows his stuff. He's constantly looking for the latest trends, he's flexible, creative, and a great collaborator. I always feel like I'm getting what my business needs, and the proof shows it.
I'm getting more value that I paid for, and have freed up not only my time, but also my brain to focus on what I'm best at. If it isn't obvious already, I highly recommend him.
Source: LinkedIn Jared Tendler Dec 13, 2012David is always innovative in his approach. He has taught me the art of engaging people and creating relationships with them through personal touch via an online community and in person.
In this day and age, his approaches are creative and easily applicable. Working with him is always thought provoking and inspiring.
I always leave our meetings with a clear strategy and tools to execute the tasks at hand.
Source: LinkedIn Jonathan Dudley Dec 13, 2012David brings a wealth of knowledge on direct marketing, CRM systems (salesforce.com), and social media. David's work with me at The Budd Group proved valuable and he was a great resource in our development of our salesforce automation project.
David worked well with peers and senior colleagues alike, and has a very approachable and easy to work with style. I enjoyed the time I spent with him and appreciate his personal assistance in a number of projects we worked on together.
Source: LinkedIn Jon Larsen Dec 13, 2012"David and I have been great friends for several years now. I am inspired by his ambition, focus, and commitment to excellence in every endeavor. He has a dynamic ability in dealing effectively with people from all walks of life. He is also in my opinion one of the brightest young minds in the marketing and relationship management arena. It has been nothing short of an absolute pleasure to share company with such an aspiring young man."
Source: LinkedIn Justin Ivy Dec 13, 2012I taught David when he was a student at Greensboro College, and since then he has become a friend, a colleague, and, finally, a mentor who teaches his old teacher. David has always had a delightful intellectual curiosity and an instinct for marketing and media that can’t be taught. Having learned so much from our conversations over the years, I finally asked him to speak on campus. His presentation, “You 2.0: Utilizing Social Media to Build Your Brand,” was one of the most well-received I have sponsored: insightful, engaging, creative, and thoughtful. I highly recommend David as a knowledgeable and skilled marketer and congenial colleague.
Source: LinkedIn Cynthia Hanson Dec 13, 2012David was one of the all-time golfing greats at Greensboro College and for as outsanding of a player as he was, he was an even better person, leader, friend and campus citizen. Always one who took honesty and integrity seriously, he was simply a person you could always count on and trust. David leads with his heart but has a keen and creative intellect that has served him well in the professional world. He is a winner and someone with whom you will be glad you started or maintained a relationship. David gets a thumbs up in all respects!

Recommend starting with focusing on your audience first. Make sure it's relevant to who you are trying to reach. Pay attention to tone (mirrors the sentiment of your reader) and use simple, friendly and jargon free language.
Structurally these tips may help:
- Page titles (at least 4 words, less than 72 characters) should contain at least one focused keyword/phrase
-Keywords/phrases should appear in the first paragraph but no more than 5.5% density of total words on the page
- Body copy at least 200 words, centered around one or two keywords/phrases
- If images are on the page, add alt-text
- Use no more than one H1 tag
- If the page is more than 300 words, use sub-headlines (h2, h3).
- Include one hyperlink for every 120-150 words of body content (Example: 500 words should have 5 hyperlinks)
If relevant, add interior linking to relevant pages on your website)
- Don’t keyword stuff or spam with linking multiple time to same page
