I’m an Italian entrepreneur, 34 years old, currently living between Rome and Mexico City. Over the past 6+ years, I’ve built and scaled three D2C e-commerce brands from the ground up — all fully bootstrapped.
My journey began with MonkeyHands, a performance skincare brand for athletes that started with homemade batches in a kitchen and a single product. We reinvested every euro, used my apartment as our first warehouse, and focused relentlessly on product quality, customer feedback, and profitability. Today, MonkeyHands is a 7-figure brand selling in the USA, Europe, and Rest of the World, with a strong focus on sustainability and lean, self-funded growth.
As demand grew, we built our own cosmetic manufacturing lab in Mexico City, which now operates as a separate business unit — producing also for other independent brands.
My other 2 brands are:
ILHU Care – an organic personal care brand focused on clean, nourishing formulas.
Zamna Naturals – a holistic wellness brand inspired by ancestral ingredients and rituals, offering supplements, oils, and sensory products for mind–body balance.
Both ILHU and Zamna are currently focused on the Mexican market but are positioned for international expansion.
Across these brands, I’ve worked in every function: marketing, product development, logistics, international distribution, operations, and admin. I know the sacrifices and chaos that come with building something from scratch — and the power of execution, resilience, and lean strategy.
Today, alongside running my brands, I offer fractional product management and strategy consulting for D2C founders and early-stage e-commerce businesses. My goal is to help other bootstrapped entrepreneurs avoid the mistakes I made and grow smarter, faster, and with more clarity.
