I was given a lot of responsibility, early on in my career and was quickly throw into managing large scale change for big groups of people (development and operational teams).

Some of these includes:

- moving support teams from 9-5 to 24 x 7 support
- team restructures
- key people changes
- controversial changes in direction and strategy
- shutting down parts of the businesses and making people redundant
- changing or implementing processes
- implementing and changing bonus programs

Change needs to be treated delicately. It should be seen as a project, often with several phases. Timelines, project plans, stakeholder groups, accountability and regular reviews need to be considered.

A badly managed change can be very costly. It can ultimately lead to grinding to a halt and losing great people. I can help you minimize the risk of this.
