President (2015 -present) of Bartley Water Associates LLC (BWA). The purpose and mission of BWA is to advise and assist organizations in their water treatment technology needs. Core competencies include: knowledge of NSF International (NSF) standards, protocols and test requirements; water technologies for utilities, engineers and investors; drinking water quality, challenges and technologies; quality assurance and control advice and review; and pilot testing experimental design.
NSF Technical Manager, (1988- 2015 retired). The primary responsibility at NSF was to manage the Public Drinking Water Equipment Performance Certification Program and the EPA project called the Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Drinking Water Systems Center. While managing the EPA ETV Drinking Water Center, co-authored and edited 70 scientific and engineering studies of drinking water treatment technologies. I was responsible for research, investigations and studies involving drinking water quality, treatment technologies, sanitation and microbiological disinfection and safety.
