Being a translator for a movie company was extremely stressful, working during the day, "partying" at night but still working, smoking all day long, not to mention the drinking and substances at the bars and clubs.
I used to leave my house with 2-3 packs of cigarettes just to have that sense of security in case I couldn't smoke. I would smoke 1 pack during the day and another at night. Later on, I also started vaping which was even worse than cigarettes.
Drinking was also a problem for me, as alcohol became my outlet to relieve stress in my personal life and professional career. I could feel my liver physically feeling sore from all the drinking over the years. I knew I had to make a change.
Today I am happy to say I don't need to smoke cigarettes or vape anymore, and I don't abuse alcohol or other substances as I once did.
