With 30+ years of experience in post-secondary preparation, Candace Powell Kinard is an Educational Consultant inspiring organizations, students and their families to bring educational dreams to life. Candace's rich past experience includes working in college admission managing and creating new access program initiatives, supervision of school based practitioners, and managing college access centers for a non-profit in Philadelphia.

She has extensive experience in providing direct service to middle school, high school, and adult students including low-income and first-generation students. Candace is an active member and has presented at NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) and PACAC conferences and served as a NACAC delegate for four years. Profiled in PACAC’s newsletter the PACER, she is currently the chairperson for the Philadelphia NACAC, National College Fair a scholarship reader for two scholarship programs and has been a faculty member in the PACAC Summer Institute.
