When I was at the Global Adaptation Institue, Bruno was brought on to create the GAIN Index, a complex research, analytical and data driven tool used later to present climate change and adaptation ranks, trends and scientific information for the public and education sector.
He executed this project above and beyond initial expectations and always was a team player to quickly respond to request from C-level executives. Bruno possesses leadership qualities due to his diligence, initiative driven and a "think outside of the box" problem solver work ethic. He has an intellectually stimulated personality and can socialize well with other team members by keeping them positive and motivated in a high stress situations. Anyone would be lucky to have him on their team.
I had the pleasure to work with Bruno for George Mason University as contractor in the Space Science Division of the Naval Research Laboratory. He is a motivated, detail oriented and analytical researcher that excels within the computing requirements of data management and analysis. His interest and dedication to basic science is as strong as his commitment to science applications and open distribution of data and publications. I have been a proud user of remote sensing tools developed by him.
