Bruce Everitt is Principal and Founder of Willo Consulting Group. He started the business in 2012 to assist small businesses with financing, investing, valuation and risk management. Bruce began his Financial Services career at RBC Royal Bank as a Commercial Banking Account Manager, lending to small-medium sized businesses. Over the next 12 years, Bruce worked in various capacities and with increasing responsibility at RBC, including RBC’s Corporate Risk Management group, approving large multi-national credit facilities, and RBC Insurance, where he was tasked to set up a Credit Risk Management group. Bruce continued his career at Sun Life Financial, again, setting up a new Credit Risk Management group. After establishing this group, Bruce decided it was time to set up his own consulting practice. Along with his consulting, Bruce Everitt, a CFA® charterholder and Master of Finance, teaches Graduate and Under Graduate courses in Corporate Finance and Business Valuation at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON.

Mr. Everitt was very approachable as a finance professor in Wilfrid Laurier's SBE and I really enjoyed his clear explanations of some of the more complex financial concepts that were introduced in class. Bruce was a great instructor who was able to provide real world examples so students could draw comparisons and better understand course material.

Bruce is an effective credit risk manager who set up the middle office function to oversee credit risk for our trading portfolio and then further expanded the function to encompass the ceded reinsurance counterparty credit risk, the trade credit reinsurance credit risk and all other credit risk at RBC Insurance. He showed his ability to manage change and create a new function from scratch.
